Questions

MCP Bridge FAQ

What is the AecNxt MCP Bridge?

The MCP Bridge is a component of AecNxt that uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let an AI assistant work with Revit model context in a scoped, reviewable way.

Is the MCP Bridge free?

Yes. The MCP Bridge is part of AecNxt and is completely free, like every other AecNxt Revit tool. No trials, no credit card.

Does my Revit model get uploaded?

The bridge is designed around controlled access: you choose the scope, review what is shared, and only then connect. Nothing is sent without your approval.

Which Revit versions does AecNxt support?

AecNxt supports Autodesk Revit 2022 through 2027 on Windows.
